Fanatical has launched new video game bundles every day this week. In all, there are seven budget-friendly bundles available in Bundlefest. Even though Bundlefest technically ends today, May 24, you have a couple weeks to make your picks.
The final bundle, the Prestige Collection, is arguably one of the best video game bundle deals we’ve seen this year. It includes a wide variety of fantastic games, including multiple bundles (very meta) such as Star Wars Collection and Devil May Cry HD Collection. Since you can grab two items for $15, opting for these two allows you to score 14 Star Wars games and three Devil May Cry games for just $15. Even if you only care about the Star Wars Collection, this is the best deal we’ve seen, as previous solid discounts dropped it d…
Read moreBorderlands 4 will launch on Steam and the Epic Games Store on PC–a pretty common occurrence for any big-name game. But, in this case, it’s notable for a couple of reasons. First, Borderlands 3 was a timed exclusive for the Epic Games Store. And secondly, Gearbox co-founder and president Randy Pitchford shared some strong words about Steam five years ago on social media.
In April 2019, Pitchford believed that Steam could be “a dying store” in 5-10 years. This led to a viral post on X calling out Pitchford for his prediction, highlighting that Borderlands 4 will launch on Steam. Pitchford responded directly to this on the social media platform, stating that he could have been right if “if Epic successfully pressed its advantage.” Come from Read more
Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) gave Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards) one directive in the Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power Season 1 finale: Don’t speak to Halbrand (Charlie Vickers) anymore. She left out the crucial information that Halbrand was just the human mask for the evil sorcerer Sauron, but as one of the eldest and highest-ranking elves in Middle-earth, she didn’t really think she needed to explain herself for her orders to be followed. Well, that was a fateful overestimation of her influence on Galadriel’s part, as the audience learned in the premiere episodes of Rings of Power Season 2.
Warning: The following contains spoilers for the Season 2 premiere episodes of Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power.
A great movie trailer can single handedly turn a movie into a success story–like that genius Cloverfield trailer in 2007 that didn’t say what the title of the movie was. But it’s more common these days, I’d argue, for a trailer to have the opposite impact. A generic trailer can so thoroughly dampen hype for a film that something like Furiosa, a great movie everybody likes that’s a sequel to a great movie everybody likes, could become a major box office disappointment.
Furiosa was the second big financial letdown in May after The Fall Guy kicked the month off with a similarly low-key box office take, and both will end up coming in well below the numbers that summer blockbusters are supposed to have–neither of these films will get to the $100 million mark at the domestic…
Read moreValve has announced that it will be changing the rules surrounding what developers and publishers can write in their store descriptions on Steam.
Starting in early September, four sections on Steam store pages will be impacted: “About The Game,” “Short Description,” “Any Special Announcement,” and “Awards.” The first new rule is that no links to other websites will be allowed in those sections, including links to social media pages. This is due to the store pages already having specific link fields for common social media platforms or websites.
No embedded imagery that mimics Steam store UI or buttons will be allowed either, including ones that look like wishlist buttons, game capsules, or prices. Additionally, no images, links, or widgets that point to other games on Steam …

The Nier team isn’t shy about good-naturedly taunting or riling up their fans, and that’s exactly what series producer Yosuke Saito did in a recent talk. Speaking with former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi in Weekly Famitsu, Saito strongly implied that he’s working on a new project with Nier series creator/director Yoko Taro and series composer Keiichi Okabe. However, he can’t say much about it for the foreseeable future.
As translated by Gematsu, Saito said the following: “I’ve been talking about wanting to do something with Yoko and Okabe for some time now. I’ll have something a bit more put-together to say in the not-too-distant future, so please stay tuned Come from Sports betting site VPbet <…

Read moreIs Fallout supposed to make you think about society? I’d argue that, at its best, it is, with capitalism being an obvious candidate to explore, given the mainline series’ unflinchingly corporate American atomic age-inspired setting and the whole resource war that led up to the bombs being dropped. Though, according to co-creator Tim Cain, that isn’t the central crux of Fallout theme-wise.The veteran developer has said as much in a comment (thanks, PC Gamer) on the latest video posted to his YouTube channel – which I’d definitely reccomend checking to pretty much anyone who’s interested in games and how they get made – as part of a response to a fan asking for his thoughts on reading Fallout “as a critique on capitalist/corporative greed (Vault-Tec and others) and on excessive militarizatio…

Naturally, fans have been quick to start speculating/wishing into existence stuff they’d like to see the studio whip out.The date of the Summit looks to be a bit of an interesting one, with RGG personnel, including studio head Masayoshi Yokoyama previously having said during a July live stream that its next game would be unveiled during this year’s Tokyo Game Show, which is set to run from September 26 to 29. Yes, that’s the week after this summit. To see this content please enable targeting cookies.Manage cookie settings Naturally, this has prompted a bit of fan confusion as to how RGG might handle that new game announc…
