Borderlands 4 will launch on Steam and the Epic Games Store on PC–a pretty common occurrence for any big-name game. But, in this case, it’s notable for a couple of reasons. First, Borderlands 3 was a timed exclusive for the Epic Games Store. A great movie trailer can single handedly turn a movie into a success story–like that genius Cloverfield trailer in 2007 that didn’t say what the title of the movie was. But it’s more common these days, I’d argue, for a trailer to have the opposite impact. A generic trailer can so thoroughly dampen hype for a film that something like Furiosa, a great movie everybody likes that’s a sequel to a great movie everybody likes, could become a major box office disappointment.

Valve has announced that it will be changing the rules surrounding what developers and publishers can write in their store descriptions on Steam.

Starting in early September, four sections on Steam store pages will be impacted: “About The Game,” “Short Description,” “Any Special Announcement,” and “Awards.” The first new rule is that no links to other websites will be allowed in those sections, including links to social media pages. This is due to the store pages already having specific link fields for common social media platforms or websites.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be getting multiple substantial updates through the first half of 2025 and beyond. The year’s first big patch will release in February, adding a new map, a new Tyranid enemy, and Absolute difficulty.

Focus Entertainment revealed its roadmap for the game via a community update on its official forum.
